Mission Statement: The BCC Women’s Group will: identify and implement projects of interest to women; provide assistance, support, guidance and resources in several areas including career and professional development; provide emotional support, social and cultural activities.
Specific Roles and Responsibilities:
- group discussions/seminars related to women
- invite guest speakers/professional experts to discuss relevant issues or give presentations on topics of interest;
- classes/workshops (e.g. English speaking classes, hobby clubs, art courses etc.);
- book club (to meet at least four times a year, beginning January 2006);
- group outings and family activities;
- provide a sense of community by creating volunteer opportunities;
